Sick Christian Humor ...Pushing the   Envelope 

As we all know the choir is the battleground of the Church.  Why?   Simply, because
Christians are not perfect.  Yes, even the born-again ones.  Not only is there a lot of
talent floating around the choir, there's a great deal of ego.  So pride, along with
assertion of territory,  raises its ugly head,  even among those who proclaim "peace and love have kissed..." in chant and song.   So, every church organist has to know her/his
music AND psychology.  You might even say an organist not only must possess
a thick skin, but also a certain measure of   meaness.

Of course, in the course of the battles that are waged among the choir members, there
are casualties.   So.......
