before applying for membership.

maintenance of the club property and assist with
work parties and/or clean up days.

before they go into the water.
Club members with more than one boat or sailboard must purchase
a sticker for each

responsibility of a member and must be

visit.
8. Members who have invited guest to W.S.C. and said
guests have brought their own
boat or sailboard must ensure that
the said guests have purchased a days pass from
U.T.R.C.A. for their boat or

9. In the new season, existing paid up club members
must claim their allotted dock
space or sailboard slot on
the rack by March 31 or it may be given to someone else.
10. To prevent public free-loading on our
facilities, members are asked to close and
lock the gate behind
them each and every time they enter or leave the club.
11. Campfires and late parties have caused the
committee much concern! In the
interest of safe driving and out
of respect for our neighbors, parties must break up,
premises must be vacated, and
gates locked by 11:00 p.m.
12. The executive committee shall have the
power to request any member to resign
from
membership, if in the opinion of the committee, his or her general
conduct
and disregard
for rules has rendered them unworthy of membership.
13. Cars are to be left in the parking area: Not driven
across the grass to the boat area.
14. If you are the last member to leave the club property
be sure to arm (turn on)
the alarm system before
leaving.
15. **NEW: Members who do not launch or use their boats for long
periods of time
may have their boat removed to a mooring or their
wharf reassigned to another
member. (In the past one boat sat at the
wharf unused all summer. Another 1 1/2
wharf spaces sat unused as
the members boats were never launched. We need those
wharf spaces for other
club members.)
MAJOR
CHANGES, PLEASE NOTE
1. FOR SOME YEARS MEMBERS HAVE BEEN ASKED TO
PAY THEIR ANNUAL FEES BY MARCH 31st . Our Club
has heavy financial obligations in the early part of the year and
relies on member fees to meet these costs. Please note that
in 2004 (and 2005), member fees paid after March 31st will be subject to
a $25.00 late payment penalty.
2. Our "Work Crew Program" has just completed
its third year of operation. Each work team meets on Saturdays,
four times as season, to move docks, work on grounds or perform other
tasks. A person who can't attend on a scheduled date can turn up
on a subsequent Saturday to make up the time. Some person who
can't make it on Saturdays can opt to perform specific tasks in their
own time (contact your team leader).
A motion was passed at our last Annual Meeting that members who find
they cannot join either of these work programs may opt out by paying an
additional $50.00 on their memberships. If you wish to opt
out and have your name removed from the work crew, you may do so by paying an additional $50.00. Please see this option on the application form.
